Sabrin: Fed Behind Effort to Ignore Ron Paul

Comment:  Is this morally justified or fair?  Israel violently attacks Iran through proxies and if Iran retaliates, the West will probably spin the act of defense as a provocation to start war.  This is not the only example of Western acts of terrorism against Islamic targets.  It reminds me of Bush W’s statement that either you are with us or you are with the terrorists.   What if we support terrorism?  US sponsored terrorist captured by Iran.   What else is the US or our allies doing in terms of criminal acts against our neighbors?

Richard Silverstein reported on his blog on Saturday that an explosion at an Iranian military and intelligence facility west of Tehran was caused by the Mossad and the Islamic terrorist group Mujahideen e-Khalq (MEK).

Major General Hassan Moghaddam, a top Revolutionary Guard commander who is recognized as the founder of Iran’s missile program, was killed in the terrorist attack by Israel.

Silverstein wrote:

It is widely known within intelligence circles that the Israelis use the MEK for varied acts of espionage and terror ranging from fraudulent Iranian memos alleging work on nuclear trigger devices to assassinations of nuclear scientists and bombings of sensitive military installations. A similar act of sabotage happened a little more than a year ago at another IRG missile base which killed nearly 20. In the murky world of Israel-Iran relations, where it’s often hard to tell the difference between information, misinformation and disinformation, either explanation may be true. But my source has never been wrong so far in the reports he’s offered.

It is, of course, ironic that the same MEK is paying key political players in U.S. life hundreds of thousands of dollars to lobby on behalf of removing it from the Treasury Department terror list. I suppose when a terror group is harming your enemy then it’s no longer a terror group, eh?

Silverstein followed up on the story on Sunday night, and noted all the attention it was getting in the Israeli media, writing:

Yesterday’s report here based on an authoritative Israeli source, that the explosion which rocked an Iranian Revolutionary Guard missile base and killed one of the IRG’s top commanders, was the work of the Mossad and MEK, received a flurry of attention in the Israeli media. I was cited by one of Israel’s pre-eminent intelligence correspondents, Ronen Bergman, in theTelegraph, and interviewed for two shows on Channel 10 (5PM news–7 minutes into the video, and Tzinor Layla) and the 6PM news on Channel 2.

The Guardian mentioned Silverstein’s blog post on Saturday in their article on Monday called, “Israeli secret service the Mossad linked to Iran military blast.”

So far, President Obama has been mute about Israel’s aggression and act of terrorism. I think he is busy surfing the waves in Hawaii.

In Iran, the attack is being spun as an “accident.” Press TV reported on Sunday that Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in Iran’s parliament, said that a possible cause of the explosion at the IRGC base is the “relocation of ammunition.”

Press TV also reported:

Head of the IRGC Public Relations Department Lieutenant General Ramezan Sharif said on Sunday that Investigations to determine the main cause of the incident are underway and that the public will be informed of the findings.

Sharif also ruled out the possibility of acts of sabotage being behind the blast, adding that investigations are ongoing to determine the “main cause” of the incident.

It is interesting to see how much longer Israel will commit acts of war against Iran and then have their hard work be minimized by the Iranian regime as just an accident on their part. It must be infuriating for the Israeli maniacs. They are going through all this trouble to start a shooting war with Iran, but they are being denied at the door.

Or, maybe, in a perverse way, the Israeli maniacs like injuring others and then vilify them if they return fire.

Israel definitely has deep psychological problems that it is repressing and that it needs to deal with immediately, for its own sake and for the world’s sake.

Forget Jesus and Muhammad, Freud should be resurrected. Humanity needs him to probe the insane minds of Bibi and Barak.

What Israel is doing is crazy, unless it is the goal of Israel’s traitorous leaders to destroy Israel’s sovereignty, sacrifice its people, and help pave the road for a world government in Jerusalem. How else can you explain what Israel is doing? Why start World War III with Iran when your nation is not threatened?

Maybe there a bigger plot at work here–one whose ultimate goal is the final construction of a global authoritarian government, with Israel, America and Iran all being sacrificed in the process.

If that’s not the plan, then why do Israel and America want to start a world war? These two nations will gain nothing and lose everything in this war.

Think about the Iranian position for a minute. How do you oppose an aggressor who views himself as the innocent party and has a propaganda machine to convince the world that this is in fact the case?

No other country in history has felt so self-satisfied and morally justified after committing cruel acts against its neighbours. Israel’s demonstration of power and strength is internalized as “right of self-defense” and “righteousness.”

But Israel is not a unique nation in this respect. Every aggressive nation is guilty of crafting fictions and national myths to justify its murderous policies against other people, especially America. The fact that both countries are teaming up to “save the world” from “Radical Islam” and “Iran” is not good news for the world.

How can America save the world from a regime that it created in the first place? If the radical Islamists are so dangerous and threatening, then why did the CIA and MI6 put them in power in Iran?

You see the problem? Millions of people will be killed in this joke of a war.

Rather than saving the world, Israel and America are destroying it. And the radical Islamic mullahs are probably complicit in the new world order’s plan for world destruction. It is likely that top senior clerics and officials in Iran have ties to the CIA. Khomeini had close ties to the CIA and MI6 when he was placed in power in 1979. So did his closest advisers.

But this history is ignored. Instead, the people of Israel and the people of the world are made to believe, that Iran poses a nuclear threat to Israel.

Silverstein wrote about the reaction to Mossad’s attack on the Iranian military base in Israel, saying:

I especially like another objection by the pro-Israel crowd: that this wasn’t an act of terror because you don’t commit terror against a military target. To which I reply: fine it’s not terror. Then let’s just call it a naked act of military aggression why don’t we, a casus belli? That’ll send us to war right now. So which do you prefer? Terror or naked act of aggression?Either one is fine by me.
In Israel, leading politicians are embracing the explosion as something like Divine Providence. When Ehud Barak was asked for comment he said obliquely, and almost obscenely (my translation is more colloquial than the one offered in the linked article):

May there be many more.

Israel is handing itself its own death sentence by attacking Iran.

I hate the Islamic regime in Iran. It was founded on illegitimate grounds. Khomeini was not a hero, he was a destroyer and a traitor.

But the regime is not a threat to Israel or the region.

Attacking Iran is an act of insanity by Israel’s demonic leaders. They are delivering their people to hell’s halls by starting a fight with Iran.

Have We Delivered Libya Into the Hands of Al Qaeda?

We repeatedly warned that the Libyan “rebels” were largely led by Al Qaeda. See this and this.

Now that Gaddafi is gone, our fears have not decreased.

The Daily Mail noted earlier this month:

The black flag of Al Qaeda was hoisted in Libya yesterday as Nato formally ended its military campaign.

The standard fluttered from the roof of the courthouse in Benghazi, where the country’s new rulers have imposed sharia law since seizing power.

Seen as the seat of the revolution, the judicial building was used by rebel forces to establish their provisional government and media centre.

Flying high: The Al Qaeda flag, with Arabic writing and a moon design, can be seen flying alongside a Libyan national flag above Benghazi’s courthouse

The flag has been spotted on the courthouse several times, prompting denials from the National Transitional Council that it was responsible.

And see thisthis and this.Congressman Dennis Kucinich said recently:

What is going on in America? On the one hand, we have soldiers dying in Afghanistan fighting Al Qaeda. On the other hand, we just helped a group of people take over Libya and the Al Qaeda flag is flying over their capital city headquarters.

What are we doing? It is time for America to get its story and its priorities straight about what we stand for as a nation. Its time to get out of all these wars and all of these conflicts where we think we can play both sides against the middle and it usually ends up with U.S. soldiers getting killed.

Its time to bring our troops home and take care of things here at home…. We can’t tell the whole world what to do and we have an obligation to get our own house in order here at home and put people back to work.”

And Truthout notes today:

America appears to have “liberated” Libya right into quasi-theocratic governance, its transitional government announcing that the decision regarding what to do with the body of its summarily raped and executed former dictator would be taken by the head of the Islamic Fatwa society. This is not actually a problem for America, whose mind is onother things. “It may not be quite the country that NATO thought it was fighting for (when Sharia is implemented in Libya),” said Libya expert David Hartwell, senior analyst at HIS Jane’s. “But the huge amounts of oil and gas in Libya will make everyone learn how to reconcile themselves with the new Libya.”

Hey, what’s a little Al Qaeda among oil-sharing friends?

Especially when it has made the world safe for central bankers (and see this)

As I’ve repeatedly noted, the “War on Terror” never had anything to do with fighting terrorism or Al Qaeda.
