The Occupy Wall Street crowd has become predictably focused on issues like taxing the middle class and moderately “rich,” ending capitalism and even re-electing Obama to ‘fight’ the very elites who pushed him into power. Focus should instead be on the real source of power for the out-of-control bankster class- the private, unaccountable Federal Reserve bank that creates money out of thin air, issues secret loans to insiders and foreign governments and systematically institutes debt on the American people through their undue powers.

With this in mind, Alex Jones is calling on patriots to “occupy” branches of the Federal Reserve, with plans to appear at three locations in Texas this weekend in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. The times and locations appear below. Further, people everywhere should converge upon Fed locations in their area to raise awareness about the real culprit behind the economic crisis.

Well meaning protesters who have joined the Occupy Wall Street effort, including solidarity activities in cities everywhere, need to be educated about the power held by this insidious institution, as well as the false solutions that have been proposed by leading figures on the left and right that only further expand the scope of big government, all while avoiding the elephant in the room.

Join Alex at locations throughout Texas or begin to address the issues at the Federal Reserve branch in your location. Don’t wait for orders from headquarters– go to the sound of the guns in this information war to awaken minds and stop the massive transfer of wealth being manipulated by the very offshore interests who control the Fed and even steer the protests at Wall Street.

Closed to Public, Supercommittee Open to Lobbyists

The 12-member congressional supercommittee created by the August debt-ceiling deal is tasked with finding $1.5 trillion in cuts to the federal budget over the next decade. With that kind of money on the line, was there ever any doubt that lobbyists would come knocking on the committee’s door?

In fact, says the Washington Post, “nearly 100 registered lobbyists who used to work for members of the supercommittee are now representing defense companies, health-care conglomerates, Wall Street banks and others with a vested interest in the outcome of the panel’s work.” In addition, writes the paper, half the members of the committee — three Democrats and three Republicans — “also employ former lobbyists on their staffs.”

Furthermore, notes Poltico, while the supercommittee “has met more frequently in secret than publicly and has rejected calls to disclose its donors and post its documents online,” lobbyists are having relatively little difficulty finding out what’s going on behind closed doors. Though committee members have refused to talk to the press about the panel’s proceedings, the report adds, “Democratic and Republican lobbyists say they continue to get corporate clients with interests before the committee face time with members and staff.”

The companies, who pay $30,000 to $50,000 a month for such lobbyists, stand to lose billions of taxpayer dollars whether or not the committee reaches an agreement on spending cuts. Should the committee fail to make a deal, automatic spending cuts (actually, reductions in future spending increases) of $1.2 trillion over 10 years will take effect. Corporations are thus eager to ensure that their interests are protected, either by keeping the committee from cutting their payments as part of a grand bargain or, as Politico observes, by “working overtime to … scuttle a deal because the automatic cuts would be better for them.”

Since the automatic cuts are divided evenly between defense and non-defense programs, a wide variety of corporations would be affected by them. “Defense contractors, for instance, are eager to push the panel toward an agreement that reduces the scale of cuts to the Pentagon,” according to the Post. “The health-care sector, meanwhile, has a multitude of worries, from potential reductions in hospital payments to proposals to limit prescription drug prices under Medicare.” Companies like General Electric, which the newspaper reports “has been awarded nearly $32 billion in federal contracts over the past decade, with much of that business going to lucrative defense and health-care subsidiaries,” will feel the pinch no matter which portions of the budget are cut.

GE, however, may have little cause for concern. The Post found that “at least eight GE lobbyists used to work for members of the supercommittee, including the firm’s chief lobbyist on Capitol Hill”; and of course, GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt is tight with President Barack Obama, having been appointed to head Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Although the company claims it has not been lobbying the panel, “several lobbyists representing GE and other defense contractors” told the Post that “they expect to be heavily involved in the supercommittee’s debate this fall.”

The Post writes that “two-thirds of the lobbyists with committee ties are Democrats, including about two dozen former aides to Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.), the powerful chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.” Other Democrats with lobbyist connections: Sens. Patty Murray of Washington and John F. Kerry of Massachusetts, each of whom has over a dozen former employees now working as lobbyists.

On the GOP side, the paper notes, Rep. Jeb Hensarling of Texas “employs a former lobbyist as a senior adviser” and has two former employees now in the lobbying business. Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl, who threatened to quit the supercommittee after its first meeting if defense cuts were ever mentioned again, has sent at least 10 former staffers through the revolving door to K Street, home of Washington’s lobbying industry. And a high-level advisor to Michigan Rep. Fred Upton was once a lobbyist for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). (PhRMA is quite bipartisan in its influence peddling: It has also hired ex-employees of Murray, Baucus, Kerry, and Rep. Dave Camp (R-Mich.).)

Given these kinds of intense lobbying efforts, anyone who thought the supercommittee was going to rein in spending is going to be sorely disappointed. “Lobbyists,” Politico remarks, “say they aren’t worried about getting access when they need it most.” Taxpayers, on the other hand, aren’t getting access; they’re getting the shaft.

UN-accredited companies violently seize land to grow biofuels as part of carbon trading scheme

23 farmers in Honduras were slaughtered in cold blood by hired mercenaries as they tried to protect their land from being seized by a corporation who wanted to use the land to produce biofuels as part of a United Nations-accredited EU carbon trading scheme.

Obama Buffett

“Protests erupted in July when six international human rights advocacy groups presented a report to the EP detailing what they called murders and forced evictions of peasants in El Bajo Aguán Valley of northern Honduras, ” reports the New American.

“The International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH) report accuses UN-sanctioned palm oil mills of stealing farmland from Honduran natives and killing or wounding them when they attempt to defend their property. It says the companies, acting with government impunity, regularly target members of local land-rights movements who end up murdered in feigned car accidents or hunted down and shot by private security guards.”

The United Nations’ CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) responded to news of the killings with a collective shrug of the shoulders.

“We are not investigators of crimes,” a board member told EurActiv. “We had to take judgements within our rules – however regretful that may be – and there was not much scope for us to refuse the project. All the consultation procedures precisely had been obeyed.”

The CDM board’s chairman, Martin Hession, also refused to take responsibility and argued that the EU didn’t have the resources to investigate the crimes.

However, members of the European Parliament have promised to visit the area later this month as part of an ongoing investigative mission.

“Examples of the violence are gruesome,” writes Rebecca Terrell. “Security guards ambushed 15-year-old Rodving Omar Villegas near his village and shot him to death with an AK-47. A car ran down and killed 60-year-old Juan Ramon Mejia. And José Leonel Guerra Álvarez was murdered inside his home in front of his wife and children by armed assailants firing from outside the house.”

The murders were facilitated by the “direct involvement of private security guards from some of the local companies who are complicit with police and military officials,” a report by an International Fact Finding Mission that was presented to the European Parliament’s Human Rights Sub-committee stated.

Writing about the deaths, Czech theoretical physicist Luboš Motl stated, “We are dealing with a group of fanatical people who won’t demonstrably stop when they need to kill people in the name of their breathtaking delusions (the comment about their need to follow their “rules” is just totally scary) and in the name of the millions that, according to their beliefs, belong to them.”

“We are dealing with a dangerous international fascist organization (I mean the climate alarmists) and I am telling you, if we won’t show them that we have teeth, they will show it to us sometime in the future.”

“Who didn’t this coming?” asks the Soylent Green blog. “Oh that’s right, the EUrotards. Who would have thought that Third-world Kleptocrats and bankers would steal land to cash in on the Thermageddon Carbon Trading Scam of the Millennia? And if any pesky farmers get in the way–kill them.”

As we have previously documented, this is not the first time that armed troops have killed poverty-stricken villagers after stealing their land in the name of global warming.

Last month we reported on how New Forests Company, a British outfit backed by the World Bank that seizes land in Africa to grow trees then sells the “carbon credits” on to transnational corporations, worked with the Ugandan government to evict villagers from their homes.

Armed troops stormed the village of Kicucula, setting fire to residences and beating anyone who resisted. An eight-year-old child was killed during the terrifying raid.

The New York Times later reported that the bloodshed was all “For a good cause: to protect the environment and help fight global warming.”

The lucrative scramble for arable land in Africa and South America is worth millions to carbon trading companies.

As we have previously documented, the manufactured threat of man-made global warming is being used as a tool of neo-colonialism in the third world, not only through the seizure of land and infrastructure, thereby preventing poor nations from using their resources to develop, but by literally starving poverty-stricken people to death.

Climate change alarmism and implementation of global warming policies is a crime of the highest nature, because it is already having a genocidal impact in countries like Haiti, where the doubling of food prices, directly attributable to biofuels replacing land that would have been used to grow crops, is resulting in a substantial increase in starvation, poverty and death, with the population being forced to live on mud pies.

Seizing private property and killing those who try to protect their homes and families betrays the fact that while the movement against man-made climate change likes to project an image of itself as a touchy-feely liberal cause, in reality it is a brutal and arcane form of savagery led by eugenicists obsessed by greed who have no concern for human suffering.

Facebook has been caught telling porkies by an Australian technologist whose revelations that the site tracks its 800 million users even when they are logged out have embroiled Facebook in a global public policy – and legal – nightmare.

Facebook’s assurances that “we have no interest in tracking people” have been laid bare by a new Facebook patent, dated this month, that describes a method “for tracking information about the activities of users of a social networking system while on another domain”.

Nik Cubrilovic’s blog post, which revealed that tracking cookies monitor Facebook users whenever they surf websites with a Facebook ‘like’ button, has led to political outrage in the US and Europe.
